Hi , I'm relatively new on here, and have previously had some great advice, I've only had my 407sw for 3-4weeks, but Ive seemingly being plagued by various issues with it, I've had a fuel tank leak, oil leak, lower suspension arm bush issue , it's very smoky on first start up and now it's developed a steering issue( very noisy and heavy when turning wheel) , I've also had it diagnosed on planet and there's quite a few fault codes present ( depollution fault on different thread) , it's just very disheartening and it's where do you draw the line before it becomes uneconomical to throw any more money at it, I think the 407 is a great car to drive and it would be a shame to have to sell it, has anybody had any similar issues /experiences, I'm currently thinking if I could get the mechanical issues repaired that would be ok, but with regard to the fault codes and getting to the bottom of those , does anybody know of a decent independent Peugeot specialist in the north west area?thanks for reading and sorry to go on!!!

Some of the fault codes might be historical. Where they erased, drive the car for a while and read again to see what fault codes show up.
Sorry I cannot help with Peugeot indi in your area.

Malcolm.
