I've just bought a 52 plate 307 2.0 hdi 110 as a project, and I've got a problem with a slug-like lack of power, as well as the wonderful anti-pollution fault message.

I've heard that it's either the Eolys or the DPF, or both putting the car into limp mode. I've checked the additive tank and it's almost bone dry, and I don't want to fork out loads of cash on a few litres of additive.

Is it possible to remove the Eolys additive tank and sensors so that the car no longer slugs around?

I'm going to try blast the DPF out - I drove about 15 mins at 2500 this morning to no avail.

Any suggestions/experiences would be welcome, cheers

I'd probably get the faults checked and sorted first so the remapper has a known working car with no inherent faults (other than a blocked DPF).

I only have a intermitent "catalyst downstream temperature sensor". Car is doing the regens still, so it's not bothering me, but at the lightest hint of DPF problems, HDI-Tunning is receiving a file from me... :)
