I run a 2015 model GT with the active cruise control system. There's no discernable single radar visible on the front of the car (like you see on some VWs). The system, as I understand, uses the array of what look like typical parking sensors that run around the front bumper. Other than in falling snow, I've found it to be pretty reliable and useful.

hmm, that’s what the dealer told me too. Said it speeds up and slows down according to vehicles in front. Does yours have lane assist too?
Yes - the active / adaptive cruise control on mine will slow the vehicle to retain a safe gap between you and the vehicle in front (you can specify the gap in seconds using the menus on the console screen) - it does this only by engine braking though. Will increase speed back to your programmed cruise if the gap opens up. There is no lane assist, and I don't think that was ever an option in 2015 cars. The manual speaks of a radar, but there's none discernable.

There's a 2015 price list online here : peugeot-308-prices-and-specifications-brochure.pdf (ddscars.co.uk) This shows that this as a standard feature on GT models in 2015 - part of the 'Driver Assist Pack', also optional on Allure and GT line. The same pack also includes emergency collision warning - this warns you if you get too close to other vehicles at higher speeds (over 20mph) and will automatically brake the vehicle at lower speeds.

The picture above is a post-facelift model (which makes sense for the 2018 date) - I assume they have a different system fitted? Here's a pic of the front of my car. I hope that's helpful.

That makes sense - as soon I posted the picture I wondered if it might actually be located off to the right hand side inconspicuously.

Having looked through the pics on the Autotrader advert in the OP - that looks identical to my car, both in terms of front bumper, the control screens and the stalks - so would seem there's no reason to suspect it doesn't have the system as claimed, especially as its standard fit for 2015 GT cars.

Thanks drdino for that - I've learned something new about my car. Seems its now all the rage to make the radars look really obvious - good for marketing I guess.
