Nice one. Do you need the base software first that comes with the Peugeot planet software and hardware?

I wouldnt risk it using it on Win 7.. its simple.. its not designed for any other OS than XP so no point even thinking about it with lots of compatibility issues and end up corrupting the ecu's

Ive tried activating mine with the keygen it keeps saying
the activation code is not valid (error code 11) cust number is 001, Pc identifier is: PP2000-21, the version number is 10 digits, and im getting the server request code off the screen and its 5 digits, but still despite trying a number of times im having no luck.
I just got the device today off ebay, using it on a Macbook pro with XP installed.

When activating use the number 0 and not the letter o ,also make sure and put the - in between each set of numbers,let me know how you get on?

Yup thats what ive been doing customer number has been 001 not oo1 and ive kept the - after the pp2000 bit and in the code, although i tried copy and paste for the code so it wasnt a problem, but also manually entered the code. How many digits should everything be.

could be an issue of emulating the XP on the MAC. i know it works fine if you have Windows 7 and using third party software (VMWARE) to install XP.

only way to find out tho is to test on a windows based pc.

The xp is running through bootcamp, i had 7 on bootcamp earlier and it wasnt useful, so i put on xp, and it works fine for everything else. So i wouldnt think of it as an issue. Because the lexia and pp2000 software packages are both installed and seem to work bar the registration bit.

are you running the keygen on the MAC emulator terminal?

i would try running the keygen on a windows base and seeing if that gives you the same code...sorry if this has been suggested before etc

EDIT: it might sound wierd that the software is running fine but from personal experiance keygens are sometimes detected as a virus/malware, and can cause calculations problems, giving the wrong details. i havnt used a MAC in a long time so i cannot speculate on that but like i say worth a go.

do you mean just use the keygen program on a windows laptop then enter the result into mine. Ill give it a go, but doubt it would be the problem, bootcamp makes my mac use about 50gb just as a normal windows xp laptop.

yeah thats what i mean. ah, if thats the case im not sure then as i always thought that mac emulate windows using something like bootcamp. cannit harm to try tho.

thanks for the help, went to the downstairs pc which is an old xp, used the keygen but realised an important fact i was the tool. I had been putting the identifier of the pc and number of the version in the wrong boxes, now i did it the right way round on the bootcamped mac and it worked fine. Thanks for the help, probably will need more for updates, im at pp2000-21, would updating bring any advantage because ive got a 406

I'm having an issue in that I can successfully activate the software, and it will read various ECU's on the car but after a while it tells me to validate to continue...... as if it has lost the activation information, If I run the keygen again and enter the details all is fine, after a while it happens again.

Do you think a re-install would resolve this?

No harm in trying , did you fill in all dealer details like name, postcode, address ,tech name and such (just make it up by the way).

activation problems

I am new on here but I am stuck. I have just purchased some planet software off ebay, however I am unable to activate using the keygen. I get "the activation code is not valid (error code 11), any help would be appreciated.

Have you just the software? have you lexia3 interface cable? are you running xp?
