Hi.

I´ve had problem with a pulsating break pedal for a while now. When I was changing the front wheel bearings, I also changed the ABS-rings on both sides but the pedal is still pulsating. The ABS light is not on.

Anyone got an idea what else could be wrong?
Is it possible to measure the ABS sensor with a multimeter? Values on that sensor?

This is a common issue with 406s for some reason it is usually the rings that cause it but if you have replaced them it may be the sensor is not reading properly as they can get very dirty.

There are 2 different size rings available it seems check your gaps between sensor and ring teeth.

If you feel kicks on the brake pedal, these are the two (2) reasons !!
99% is Warped discs.
Or the the wheel hub has warped, during bearing replacement.

have the photos...

406 does this regularly but its not warped discs its the ABS system actually doing it !

Sounds crazy but it is it is not a high speed thing it is when going slow they do it braking from higher speeds when a warped disc would show up they work fine !!

You only feel it when braking from low speeds like crawling in traffic or parking
