My 307 has had a fault for some time now. First off we had what feels like the ABS cutting in at very low speeds < 10mph, which required us to lift off and reapply the brake (not good if you are in close slow moving traffic). Along with that the ABS/ESP fault light came on. Sometimes straight away, and other times after a few miles.

I have resolved the ABS/ESP light fault by cleaning the rear sensors, but since then the juddering on the front brakes have gotten worse.

I want to sell my 307 to get a smaller car, but don't want to pass it onto someone else like this.

Any DIY help would be appreciated, as I don't have £100's to spend on it.

it feels like the front brakes but it will definately be the rear sensors...there has to be 2mm air gap...too small or to big and you end up with the fault. this is a very popular problem with this car. to find out which one is causing it you will have to get the car hooked up to planet and diagnosed.
