Hi all, new to here just after a bit of advice.
The abs/esp warning light came on my 2008 308 today. Restarted engine and disapeared but then comes on again after about a minute.
Not sure if it is a coincidence (although im beginning to think its not) but about an hour earlier into the drive i hit a jutting kerb turning right on the nearside wheel at about 10 mph. The hit was big enough to make quiet a jolt, scrape all the wheel and tear a bit of rubber of the outside of the tire. Brakes and steering fine for the next hour, then the warning light.
Any ideas what this might have affected, could it knock the abs sensor or something?

it could have affected more than the sensor, you need to do a thorough inspection of that whole side, take wheel off and have a good look at everything, also get that tyre replaced asap as its dangerous.

Ok, thanks for your reply. I'll get it checked out. I wasn't sure if it would be something and nothing. Thank you.
