Hi Guys.

MODEL
I have a 2006 307 2.0XS (Petrol)

FAULT
Neither the Aircon nor the low speed radiator fan function at all.

TESTED SO FAR
A mechanic ,using testing equipment, can get the low speed to engage. The high speed fan works as it should.

Any ideas what the problem could? In my country, Peugeot mechanics are non-existent.

Relays under the bonnet slam panel perhaps?

Or problems with the wiring loom?

Hi Gibbo

Thanks for the response.

To be honest, my mechanical knowledge allows me the ability to put the correct fuel in and to pick the correct side the fuel flap is on 50% of the time. :ROFLMAO:

Are you saying the relays might fault or corroded?

Yep, they're in a location exposed to dirt and water. Mine were dirty and caused the fan to come on and stay on. Once cleaned all was well again.

Thank you Gibbo. Your advice is much appreciated.

I will most definitely have a look at that.

If the A/C refrigerant has leaked the A/C won't come on. So neither will the fan. Might be worth checking.

Mmmm.
That also makes sense as I know the refrigerant has long since leaked out.

Thanks Roger, will also definitely look into that as well.

What rustyroger says is correct. If the gas pressure is too low then the computer will not allow the AC to start.
