Hi, I've a very annoying intermittent fault on the 2004 Expert diesel van which I run. The fault first appeared a few months back. After using the van daily without issue, and during a normal working day, the van had been parked for 15 mins after a run and subsequently would not start upon returning to it. I tried again and it started. I thought nothing of it at the time. However over time the fault appeared again and became more frequent. The fault developed further when van then began cutting out while actually driving. The glow plugs were all replaced and also the crank sensor. All seemed well for a few weeks but the starting problem has now returned once more. Generally after attempting to start two or three times the engine will fire up and run without issue all day. It's likely that over time it may well begin to cut out again while I'm driving, which concerns me. If anyone has experienced the same or similar fault and knows what the issue is I'd be delighted to gain some hints and tips! Thank you.

2004....oops!

Thanks for the heads up. It's a 2004. I must have slipped into time warp there ;) It's a 1.9 non turbo diesel.

Thanks for all responses so far
