Hi people.
I've been told not to put a 50mm free flow on a 206 gti - instead should install 63mm.
Is this true and is there a reason for it?

Increasing the boar of your exhaust, Will give you a small gain in BHP, The main reason for a larger boar is if you are trying to add mods to your engine bay to increase BHP, which will intern create more exhaust pressure, And the engine will need to get rid of these gases etc faster and smoother, Which the 63.5mm boar will do and so would the 57mm boar, Just depends on how many upgrades you intend to do, If you choose a smaller boar exhaust and then add lots of mods, you may find that to make the most of them, You have to replace the exhaust for a bigger boar, Which you could just do straight away.
Probably as clears mud all that lol.
