I have a 64 plate 508 SW GT.

Does anybody know the name for this part? It broke off the inside of my boot today. There are 2 of them, one on each side. 'Boot Stopper' maybe, cant find them anywhere online but probably not the correct name, any help would be appreciated.

I think they are called tailgate buffer possible part number 98 116 537 80 but need last 8 of VIN to be 100%

It is an adjustable boot stop part number 8733AS I think. just double check that.
If replacing make sure to seal it with silicone.

leaky boot 508

still have problem with water leaking into boot when opening boot lid on new 508 saloon. Originally problem was quite serious and dealer admitted that boot lid was badly designed. Eventually fitted kind of "draught excluder" in the hollow space of boot lid which improved situation but you still...
