I have a 407 with the 2.2L 16V engine, and I have had to replace the throttle body as the gears in the old one were stripped. I have installed the new one, and the car starts and the throttle moves with the pedal, but on idle it surges up and down, and mostly stalls.
I have tried some of the reset/learning codes posted around, such as
1) 30 sec ign on, off, on, off, on, press throttle slowly to floor, off, start.
2) 10sec ign on, off, on, off, on, off, start.
Still no luck.
It sounds like a mismatch between the throttle and the ECU, so I would have thought a reset is all that is needed. Any other magic codes or sequences out there, or does it need to go to a Peugeot dealer for computer programming?
