Has anybody noticed a razor sharp edge on the stainless sill cover when removing the spare wheel?
I have just cut 3 fingers very badly on it, and have severed 2 tendons, requiring surgery.
I bought my car second hand, and so don't know if some protection is missing, or all cars are like this.
What do other cars look like here?
The edge in question is only visible when the floor board is raise to access the spare.
Photo is attached.

Yes, I plan to make it safe, but I think it should not be exposed like that in the first place.
I asked Peugeot, but they don't seem to be concerned about it.
