Hi All

407 Coupe newbie here be gentle. i feel i may be here a lot.

I have a broken coil spring on the front offside and looking at the mot history of the vehicle it has had a couple in the past already, are these a weak point and as such should i replace it with an oe part or aftermarket, what are you guys using please? i had thought about lowering it but apparently with the variable suspension this is not possible, is this true? as i have found that H&R doe some and love H&R quality but if its a no go then what options doe i have please.

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this matter.

Hi...I dont think the 407 front springs are a weak point ,but it does seem strange you have had 2 sets in such a short period of time i cant comment on various quality as ive never changed any?,perhaps a set of shock absorbers will help the new springs.Have a look on youtube for 407 front spring change...good luck tho
