406 socket sizes on front hub ?????

Hi i have a x reg(2000) 406 and am attempting to replace the ball joint on the f/n/s, i don not have the correct size sockets and was wondering if any1 could tell me the sizes so i dont have to buy a number of different ones.

Main front hub nut (on end of drivedhaft, holding disc on)
think its a 40 mm but not sure ???

Holding the front caliper on the hub are 2 female star bolts.

Any ideas on these sizes, thanks
