Hello to everyone.

I bought a service Peugeot 308 SW Allure with the 1.2 puretech 130hp engine. It's from august of 2017 and so the restyle One.

I couldn't have a test drive on this engine as it was unavailable.

I have the manual 6speed gearbox and i've noticed that the engine doesn't respond right away when i pressed it, it takes 1-2 seconds to the acelleration to begin, is this normal in this engine?

This makes transition from first to second and second to third gear unsmooth

Hi, I drive 1.2 Puretech 130hp Allure Hatchback but previous shape 2016. There is a moment of delay when you press the acceleration harder but doesn't affect my driving or make gear transition rough.
I think is normal for this type of engine and was aware of it before I bought mine. Even few car reviews are mentioning this lag but seems to be acceptable and not a problem at all.
I don't know if SW is heavier than Hatchback and this make things worst or new petrol particulate filter has some affect on tuning of the engine.
