Hi,
I have a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDi Active 92 (Sat Nav) 13 plate and am using a Sandisk Cruzer 32GB USB drive, formatted FAT32.
I have 16 albums on this drive, all in MP3 format. However, it will play 13 of them okay, but not recognize the other 3 albums at all. I have tried putting the other 3 albums on another stick, tried converting them to .wav and .aac files, but with no luck. They play fine on my PC. When I put the stick in the car with just these 3 albums on it in MP3 format, I get an error saying no audio files on drive.
I have Googled this, but got nowhere.
Can anyone please help?
Many thanks.

P.S. It seems to be songs I have bought on iTunes and then converted to MP3 that will not play.

No, they are not DRM protected.
What makes it even stranger, is that I have finally got them on to a Sandisk Cruzer 32GB stick and they play (3 albums), but when I transfer them to my Cruzer 32GB stick with another 40 albums on it, these 3 albums will not play.
Guess I will have to transfer the other 40 albums on to this stick, or use 2 sticks. Makes no sense, but at least I'm half way there.
Thanks so much for your suggestions and help. Much appreciated.

That is odd! I wonder if it could be down to a deep folder structure. Is it something like: Peugeot Music/Favourite Albums/Beatles/White Album/CD 1/While My Guitar Gently Weeps...? Some USB players struggle with either a deep folder hierarchy or long filename path.

Next thing to try would be to copy one album at a time in with the 40 other albums so you can try and work out if one of those 3 albums is the culprit. And then we can try and work out why.

Maybe the Peugeot is sentient and has decided it doesn't like those 3 albums :D
