Hello,

as the title says I've got a 308 with loss of power... doesn't like the higher rev range when underload. It isn't in limp mode. There are no fault codes. Revs clean when not under load. It isn't a jerky misfire... just a lack of pull.

All this points me towards the air flow meter... now when I phoned up for a replacement part (euro car parts) they looked on the computer and it was only really showing the throttle body. Is it all in one?

I followed the air induct from the resonator/box... pipe to air box on top of engine then down the back of the engine and there was certainly something that felt like the airflow meter there... it had quite a lot of wires going to it but due to its position I couldn't see properly. I think there was about 6+ wires going to it... could the airflow meter be part of the throttle body?

Cheers.

Looking on Servicebox (I selected 308 3 DOOR SALOON 1.6 THP 16v 150) there's no MAF.

I'm seeing the diagrams but no text labels so can't say what the parts are.

I appreciate that, thanks.

I can see this will be a pain in the back side to pin point now.

I think I will have to go back to it and check the MAP sensor and TPS/throttle body... at a bit of a loss now.

Thanks again for checking that out for me. :thumb:

Yes, had it plugged into plannet and autocom... no fault codes or anything. I checked live data too and nothing really stood out there either.

I know it wont be much wrong with it... it is just pin pointing it. Plus with the car being so new I don't think enough time has passed for people to know the "common faults".

Cheers.
