Hi there,

Please can anyone help

2 months ago I put my car into a garage as my rear driver side back lights didn't work. After a week of trying to diagnose the problem I was told I needed a new BSI unit. A new one was fitted however other faults cam up straight away and no lights on still. The garage then arranged for peogeot to put on my old data and it worked for a couple of months..now they have gone again and I am £600 down. Would I have a guaranteed of any kind that I could claim under?
Any one can help I would appreciate it

Many thanks
Shirley

Depends if they fixed a problem part without looking into what may have led to the failure.

I wonder if water ingress damaged the BSI and although they replaced it, didn't fix or even look into a water leak?

I'd recommend a second opinion from an independent garage, then Trading Standards if incompetence or negligence is obvious.

Check your number plate lights for some strange Peugeot reason if the number plate bulb blows it stops the LED tail lights from working on the same side
