Hi,
I have a problem with my P307 1.4 16v 88PS. After leaving the door open for 2 hours and accidently pressing the lock button on the cockpit several times, the car will not start. The radio is not working, both displays are not working (the one below the control lights and the big one on the dashboard) and remote locking is not working. Central locking is working, but only if you do it manually.
It seems to me that the immobilizer might be preventing the car to start. The starter is turning, but the car dos not want to turn on.
Anyone with similar experience?
Thanks.

Hi
Check your fuses
Do a BSI reset
If no sorted, you need to get a diagnostic check done

youe mean to do this?:
- Put the driver's window down, lift the bonnet and ensure all equipment is switched off.
- Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from the ignition.
- Wait for 3 minutes, disconnect the vehicle battery and wait 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the vehicle battery, wait a further 10 seconds (do not open doors.).
- Switch on the side lights through the driver's window.
- Switch on the ignition and check system's functionality. - what does this actually mean: start the car or just turn the key once?
- Hold lock button on key down for 10 seconds.
- Remove key open & close door test central locking system.
- Start the engine and complete the system's check.

Should I also try to reset my keys before?
- ~ Turn the Ignition to the ON position using key No1
- ~ Press the LOCK button for 10 seconds.
- ~ take out the key and wait for 10 seconds.
- ~ Check that the Plip key operation works
- ~ Repeat process for additional keys
- ~ switch ignition off

thanks.

Yes but i would wait longer than 10 seconds before reconnecting the battery, i would wait 5 minutes.
Once you turn the side lights on, wait 10 seconds and start the engine.

If it doesn't start, you need a diagnostic check ( after checking all fuses )

You were right. It was just a fuse - F8 under the cockpit. Thanks a lot.
