I have a '06 peugeot 307 sw 1.6 hdi 90bhp
I need to get a tow bar electrics fitted asap.
I only need 7 pin standard stuff.
I done it fine with a generic wiring kit on my previous mondeo estate
what kit would I need.
Some tow bar fitters saying only use vehicle specific wiring kits and then it needs a dealer download to work the trailer indicator warning.
Some saying I can use a generic wiring kit but I don't really want to splice into the wiring harness as I have heard the 307 has a temperamental BSI electronics thingy
need help with the tow bar electrics.
also if I do fit a vehicle specific wiring kit
can planet peugeot do the appropriate software upgrade so the electrics work??
