Good question... I'm looking at the same thing, but have to admit that I hadn't giving the electrics any thought! 
Also, is it an easy job to do yourself, or ought I leave it to a garage to do? Yes, I know how to use spanners, hammers and other implements of mass-destruction, so if it doesn't require anything specialised, is it a drive way job?
