Hi all!

125k miles, clutch just failed, i'm happy with that. Its just gone in the garage. Quick question, am i right in thinking that the 2.0 hdi 90 bhp (2002 52 plate) does not have DMF? They warned me the bill could double if the DMF needs replacing... when i bought the car (nearly 4 years ago now) i remeber doing a bit of research and going for the 90 bhp because it doesn't have DMF and DPF... just loking for a bit of reassurance!

Many thanks in advance...

If its the 2 litre HDi 90 there's no DMF. The LuK clutch is cheaper than the OE Valeo one and less prone to premature slippage as it ages.

Sorry to say, my 90 bhp hdi had a dual mass flywheel - I was led to believe that it didn't. Apparently some do and some don't. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

New LuK clutch fitted, the thrust bearing had disintigrated and made a nice mess of the flywheel that needed machining.... no DMF (Yipee) all like new now, drives like a new car :D
