Can you have a look at the above results. The car is difficult to start and runs very lumpy, stalling until its warmed up – then it runs fine. The first set of results are when the car is warm , the second is when is running lumpy after start up. It starts first time, just very lumpy.

I have noticed that the ‘Diesel output delivered by the pump ref value’ fluctuates quite a lot. When it’s warm it flicks between 580 & 905 and when cold it cycles from -70 to 2858 (up and down) and seems to match the engine noise going up and down.

The car sounds very ‘tappy’ when driving until you get to about 3000 revs then it goes (not sure if this is just a normal noise with diesel Peugeots)

I have contacted a local diesel specialist who seems to think that it may be an injector issue, particularly the solenoids at the top of the injector which are prone to ‘fail’ when cold.

He suggested bringing them in for him to test which I may do, but I thought I’d ask on here first.

A global test shows two faults:
Permanent fault. Diesel high pressure regulation circuit. Pressure below reference value.
Permanent fault. Diesel high pressure regulation circuit. Maximum rail pressure exceeded

Do the PP2000 results seem to support the fact that it’s an injector problem I have.
