I have 307 1.6 HDi 2005 with factory parking assistance built in.
I apparently have a leak somewhere on the rear right wheel and the water came into the spare wheel compartment where parking assitance ECU is located. ECU got quite a shower.
I noticed the problem when the buzzer started producing weird sounds, but I found out about the problem too late as it was not working anymore.
I took the ECU out and dried (bag of rice) and then scrubbed the circuit contacts with a toothbrush. All the elements on the circuit look ok.
I connected it back and it still doesn't work - no beep as I put it in reverse.

Is there some hidden on/off or reset switch for parking sensors?
Should I try changing the fuse?
If the ECU is bust I found one used ECU on ebay for 607, but it has slightly different markings than mine. Do you think it could work?

Thank you very much!

My first post, so be gentle :)

I just found this post and am also having problems with my parking sensors on a 307 SW.

It would be useful if someone to give some information regarding this post and also my own problem.
