Hi,
My 2003 307SW seems to have an issue with the MFD.
After being on for approx half hour it goes dim and is difficult to read.
I have tried another screen, but still the same thing.

I have heard that this is quite common on these cars and that some people seem to think that it is heat related.
I have tried swapping the 3 bulbs with LED's (to reduce the heat from behind) but they were not bright enough.

I'm getting 9 volts at the bulb mountings....is this right?
Or should I be getting 12 volts?

Can anybody suggest a decent LED as a replacement for the original bulbs?

Do these MFD screens require programing to the cars ecu/bsi?

Many thanks in advance....

I think they might. But I know you have to get the right one with the same part number. As in you can't get one off a 2001 if you've got a 2007 model.
