307 Indicators?

Hi there I have posted this on the 5 door forum...

I have recently got a 307 2.0l HDI 5 door. If anyone knows what the hell is up with the indicators I would love to know. Has there been a recall on them or something??? They have a mind of their own?

(You click one way and it wont stay down, then it will randomly change to the other direction)

Help...ekkk!

I had a similar problem with mine when i bought it, although it was 3 year old. the indicator stalk had a mind of its own, but i lived with it. When it went for MOT though they failed it for that, but as the car was under warrenty i argued the toss and they repaired it FOC.
It's appalling in this day that Peugeot can still manufacture defective indicator stalks. I have emailed peugeot to replace my new 307 one with a 308 one, but all I have been told to this day is that a customer representative will call me personally soon, it's been two weeks!!!!

The indicator fault term is known as over canceling where you turn right , and after a full turn the left indicators activate. Common fault wordwide.

I have recently been informed that in France they do not use indicators which explains why the indicators are flimsy at least. But it is not acceptable we should all start posting on a new thread and I will be happy to post all these indicator issues to PSA Peugeot Citroen Alliance FRANCE.:tantrum: :tantrum:
