Hello, I need to remove the wishbone from my 307 on the passenger/ near side.

What is the best way to compress the suspension strut/spring to allow me to raise up the spring so I can removal the wishbone for replace?

I would prefer not to remove the whole suspension strut as I have heard it is a lot of work.

Drop lower ball joint and you should be able to move hub foward which moves driveshaft enough to remove bolt.

Not done a 307 yet but did a 106 and about to do an 806.
On the 106 I could remove the bottom ball joint without taking the strut out, am assuming same on 806. The other guy is right there should be enough play in hub to remove.
I wouldn't suggest removing strut and spring unless really necessary.

Having difficulty removing the bolt, managed to get the wishbone off the suspension strut but the bolt is still in the way.

Any suggestions of how to remove the bolt?

If you cannot move hub back enough to get bolt out, try moving gearbox backwards slightly on it mounting with a lever or length wood between gearbox and chassis
