hi all i just replaced my heater rheostat.inside the circulation vent because my blowers had stoped working.. and they worked fine today and yesterday but got in car tonite and the the heater only works on number 4 setting can anyone help ??

Check the connector for any damage. My mams if knackered and only works on 4. Changing the wires on Tuesday if the weather changes.

hi what i did was i got a plug from a spares dealer with about 3 inches of the same wires and colour as my plug as mine was damaged so i cut the old plug off and connected the wires from the old plug to connector blocks and then connected the new wires to the connector block making sure the colours matched and all was fine the heaters worked on all settings but for some reason now it only works of number 4 setting ?? i will check on my next day off to make sure none of the wires have come out and i will check my fuses to ..
