heater 307

theres a thread about it on here somewhere about the gears on the heater
control stripping but like me your finding your way round the site.

 

could be your cable attached to the back of the heater controls, just like a brake wire on a bike - tensioned. if you twist it from one extreme to the other, do you hear a clunking sound or feel sort of resistance. had this problem with the heater selection, going from sheffield, hillsbrough to newcastle after a footy match with 5 bodies in the car, really steamed my windows and made things fun.

 

I'd bet my right nut on it being the worn gears issue, its a common one and peugeot have made a quick fix repair kit
