Hi All,
I have a 2006, 307 1.6 hdi 110. In all gears I have a grinding noise that speeds up with the cars speed. it does not happen at all when not in gear and does not happen when the clutch is down/pressed down.

The noise seams to come from the drivers side only. so my question is, could this be a differential bearing on the way out and be a bearing for that particular driveshaft makeing the noise under load.?

can the diff be removed while the gearbox is still in place?

or can I change a driveshaft bearing in the diff without removing the gearbox.

Any help appreciated.
