Hi All:thumb:

Has anyone had the dreaded wastegate/actuator pipe inspection???
need to view mine as i have vac/boost issues and as its the 307 110 RHS engine the turbo is a bugger to get at (tilting back against bulk head engine) and i wonder if anyone could tell me the the best route to go :)

From beneath the subframe is in the way and dont know where to start:nono:

Regards, Steve.

Hi,

I have a 2004 307 that i have just bought, i knew it had a fault but i like a challange haha, it has 72000miles and well maintained but has lost boost, i'e virtually no turbo at all, it drives great, nice and quiet but as slow as a slug, have to drive it like a petrol and rev it to 3000 to get anywhere.

Ive checked and changed the solenoids to egr/boost, checked all hoses i can get too and the vac doesnt seem to bad either,

me and my friend also put a gadget on the boost pipe up to the wastegate (like a big syringe) to see if the actuator moved, while i looked with a torch up through the subframe and could just see the actuator stud end, it moved but only a milimeter, wanted to check the opp of the wastegate but not a chance of getting to it!

Codes from a hand held was P0299- boost pressure low and P0470.
