Cut a long story short. I have an 06 307 hdi that has stopped running. When turning the car over, no fuel is coming out of the injectors. I can not hear the fuel pump under the rear seats operate when the ignition is turned on. This to me sounds like the problem, but would like a second opinion.

Any ideas?

You may well be on the right track with what you say.If it were me,I think I would check to see if there is a live feed onto the lift pump,if there is no feed check fuses and wiring for possible faults, and if there is a live feed, check that the pump is actually delivering by perhaps checking if there is delivery into the fuel filter.
That's what I would do if that is of any help.Hope you get it sorted.

First you WILL NOT get fuel out an open injector union the ecu controls the flow and an open pipe will cause the ecu to shut off the fuel supply as it thinks there is a leak !!

2 if it is siemens injection it WILL NOT have a tank pump

3 more info engine size type hp rating etc chassis code as there is a choice of at least 4 HDI engines in a 307 !!
