Hi All

has anyone had a go at repairing their seat where it wraps around you, mines started splitting on the stitching where it catches you sometimes when getting in the car. This must be quite a common problem due to the shape of them as the 'wings' stick out quite a bit.

Will post a pic of what i mean when it stops peeing down :(

Cheers Graham

To be honest, the seats are a real pig to work on. It's difficult to get the covers off and twice as difficult to get them back on and looking decent. I'd look for replacements or even take it to a car interior repair place and get them to do the work. I've taken three cars to these places and been impressed with the work. It's cost me between £60 - £100 for the repairs but the seats were like new when finished. Granted the cars were newer but had been used as company cars and had a lot of wear on the drivers seats getting in & out of the car upwards of 25 times a day
