Hi,

I own a 136BHP HDi 307, had the car for 3 years now. After numerous faults that have been resolved I now have a issue with the engine acceleration.
Basically put, the engine will accelerate fine in 1st & 2nd gears (probably due to the velocity through the rev range), when in any other gear the car will not accelerate above 3000rpm. It feels as though the brake is been pressed at the same time. The more I take my foot off the accelerator, the slightly more response I get from the car, but with not response from the turbo. Usually by cruising for a short while will the problem go away, has caught me out a few times pulling out to over take!!!
Also does any one know if the cambelt is straight forward to replace? do I need injector pump timing pins?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply,

I dont get any warning lights. Occassionally when I turn on the ignition I get a dual bleep, but no warnings come up on the dashboard display.
