Having had my 307 in at the garage recently, i got them to have a look at the car as there was a 'clunking' noise coming from the front right, they told me it was the coil spring and the new part plus fitting was approx £90. Having talked to a guy at work who has had two 406's,he told me that he had also had the same problem with the coil springs on boh his cars. Am i right in saying that this is a common problem with peugeots???

To be honest its a problem with any car. Coil springs are a part thats prone to wer and tear. Just like shock absorbers.
