Hi guys looking for a little advice here, my 307 is having a clutch problem, broke down on the at the lights the other night the clutch stuck to the floor i was able to get it into first gear and limped home (again). ***On further inspection i discovered the clutch fluid level low and once i had removed my air filter out of the way ***I discovered that when the clutch was being pressed in the fluid was being sprayed out of a rubber hose with considerable force which i can only believe to be my problem. ***However not being very car minded i have no idea what part i should be looking for to replace this rubber hose, or if that is even possible, any help and advice would be greatly appreciated***

Thanks***

Probably be best to get the right part from a dealer. Replace the leaking pipe, top up the fluid and bleed the clutch. Keep an eye on the fluid level while bleeding to make sure it doesn't fall below the minimum level.

If you are unsure of the bleeding process then follow this

  1. Get someone to sit in the car
  2. Slacken the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder
  3. Get the assistant to press the clutch to the floor and hold it there.
  4. Tighten the bleed nipple
Repeat from 2 until no air comes out of the nipple
Top up the fluid reservoir and you should find the clutch is back to normal.
