Hi
I had to get a replacement key for my car (lost the other one) but am not able to get the remote locking to work.
I purchased the key from a locksmith who can program in new keys, but he was not able to get the remote part og the key to work. The key starts the car so the transponder is working. Battery on key is new.
Any ideas what the issue could be?
Where should I start to look for a problem?
Is there a battery on the receiver in the car that could need changing?

I had similar problem with my key, try clamping top part of the key with your fingers and then try if remote works if that is problem, you just need to lift electric board so it has more contact with battery :)

Exo307, thanks for the suggestion, that wasn't my problem here though.

Reliable406, on my post here you said it was impossible, and I should search the forum if I want to know why. We'll, I'd already done a lot of searching and have done even more now, and the answer isn't clear cut to me.

Others seem to have had success here (not sure about the a 2004 307 though).

Now you're saying...

there are 2 flavours you need the right flavour
So it is possible, but I just need the right flavour remote circuit board?
