Hi

I have recently brought a low mileage (42000), 2004 307 CC 180 and it isnt quite right. When I change gear particularly between 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd, the rev counter rises to around 3K RPM

I cannot seem to stop this happening no matter what I do. If I change gear really slowly, leaving a second between backing of the throttle and pressing the clutch this seems to help.

Not sure what other info I need to provide?
Any ideas??

Many Thanks

Best place to start in PP2000 or Diagbox to see if there are any fault codes, and to get live data

ummmm, thanks for your help but that doesnt mean anything to me:eek:

Is that an engine diagnostic check. If so would most garages have the equipment?? and how much is this going to cost??

Cheers

It is, if you search for some one close to you on this list, they may be able to help you for the cost of a couple of beer tokens.

I had a similar issue on my 307 where there was a loose connection between the MAF sensor and intake manifold. But, that's not to say that this is the cause, it could be many things
