I hooked up PP2000 tonight to check if another error had gone (See my other thread about the airflow meter)....

And another one popped up.

"Airbag ECU : Intermittent Fault. Right air bag and right curtain air bag in production. Open circuit"

Ive never had this popup before (obviously).
Haven't done anything with the car except about 5 minutes before, I had the steering cowling open to see if I had a socket/blanking plate for a cruise control stalk.

No stop lights on the dash, still drives fine. Airbag checks are obviously running OK as the car starts normally, runs usual checks, airbag lights go out as normal etc.

Thoughts?

Nope. I cleared it, and it came back straight away.

Forgot to say, I had the oil and filter done at National Tyres a couple of weeks ago, along with the tracking / wheel alignment.

Wouldn't have thought they would have done anything to cause it though

I was under the impression air bag faults will self clear if all is OK, but if fault still shows, the fault is still there somewhere, no matter how much you try with PP.

That was what I thought.
It couldn't be because the cowling is still slightly open could it?

I don't think so. Will take a look tomorrow after work. By the time my wife gets back with the car it will be too dark to look properly.
