Good Evening All,

Recently purchased 307 2.0 hdi xsi 55 plate - test drove fine, got it home, took it out, speed hump and pop goes the O/S front coil spring !!

Now all i am after is some advice or walk throughs in replacing these, im quite mechanically minded and have changed springs on cars in the past, i have the spring compressors and new coils on order - even if i cant get this done local garage will, but i am reluctant to fork out for someone elses labour if i can get it done my self.

So the question? what does it involve, any guides, tips from past experiances or general pointers - ALL Appreciated!!

Not a bad job, you have to remove lower trim from windscreen to get access to strut top then easy job two bolts to remove strut from hub and then top mounts and upper link rod nuts and then you can remove strut.

Top nut can be a git if you do not have windy impact gun or crack them before you take weight of strut.
