My 307 has cut out on two separate occasions at 70mph on the motorway - the only warning light that comes on Is the engine light.

It has been on a diagnostics test and no fault code found.

The car would not restart and is not working a the moment having been recovered by the AA.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

If the engine light is coming on a fault code is being stored. I would suspect that the code reader being used isn't good enough. We only recommend Planet for an accurate scan:

But check the latest map as the original one is rather old and some members have now moved on.
