hi, I bought my 53 Peugeot 307 2.0 petrol estate in august this year, and it has been back and forth to the garage ever since. it about 3 weeks after I bought it with the auto gearbox hopping and not goin into 1st gear, the valves, sensors have been replaced with no luck of fixing the problem and now I have "antipollution fault" on the dash every time I start the car. I have heard that it is a generic fault but wanted to know if it could be linked to the faults I have with the gearbox??

any help will b very grateful

You need to read the fault to see what it is first. It could be one of many things but it is unlikely to be linked to the gearbox.

If you know someone with a fault code reader, they can plug it into your OBD port and they will get a 'P' code number and a description of the fault.
