Is there any way to delete an airbag fault from my display?

A couple of seconds after start up an airbag fault comes up on the display accompanied with two warning sounds.

My car is due its annual D.O.E and it will not pass with this fault. I think it is coming from the passenger side sensor.

I had it plugged into a diagnostics computer and it said open circuit and the fault would re-appear after deletion.

Any suggestions on the fault or how to remove it?

Thanks in advance.

You will need to fix the airbag fault to get rid of the warning mate, best bet is getting it diagnosed on peugeot planet

Thank you Brigsy.

Excuse my ignorance but how does one go about getting a diagnostic by Peugeot plant?

If its open circuit i'd check the connections underneath the front seats, you might have knocked or dislodged one

You'll need to know which squib its referring to

That's if im correct in thinking the squibs are the charges that fire the airbag

Or am I being hugely stupid and the squib is the connectors behind the steering wheel? can never remember haha!

edit: yes I am being stupid, I believe the squib is all part of the comm2000 and can't be changed separately?

PO102,116,118
driver 2 squib circuit open

Yes you need a Com unit. The light will go out when you fit a new one.
Also they're not airbag fault codes. They should begin with B.

Thanks David and Stubbo. I really appreciate all your assistance.

Is it a big job to replace the com unit? Any idea how much that'll cost?

This motor is bleeding me dry:nono:
