Hi there, I'm looking to replace the clutch beacuse it slips under load at higher engine revs, I'm going to replace the clutch and dual mass flywheel.
2 questions I have
Does the flywheel need a bearing for the gearbox input shaft to fit it (spigot bearing)??
How hard is it to get the gearbox out? its the 6 speed. Reading the haynes manual it sounds a bit nightmareish!! I am a coach mechanic so have a fair idea what im looking at but dont usually get involved with my car!!:)

I thought that when I was looking underneath the other night, the haynes manual seems a bit lacking in some detail. I assume its just undo the nuts and it drops away??
