Guys

My 307 has been off the road for a month due to the DMF expiring. Just managed to get that done and fired up the car to find diesel peeing out the pump :-(

Below is a picture of a bosch pump, not mine as its still fitted to the car. Where the red arrows point there is a joint, this is the source of the leak. I backed off the 2 bolts where the blue arrows are and nailed them back up although they were not loose. Leak seems to have stopped for now. Anyone know what is under there or if a seal can be replaced???

Cheers

the high pressure end of the pump is in there. IIRC there's one or two metal ring seals, dunno if they're easily available from Bosch.

Cheers DP, just the answer I was looking for. I wonder if a diesel specialist would sell them to me, can't be anything too fancy??

This can be fixed. I've had two of those. Take pump out (obviously you have it out) and give to Bosch diesel specialist.

I actually dont have the pump out, that is a picture I found on the internet. I need to fix myself ideally in situ.

To be honest I'm about sick of this car, one thing after another and an absolute money pit
