Hi all,

Our 307 1.6 HDi has a faulty actuator on the turbo (leaks vacuum) & the service centre cannot replace just it ,as it is part of the turbo assembly and not available separately.

Needing advice on where we could buy it as a separate part.
We are in oz and the local turbo specialists can't help.

Thanks & Regards

Hi
As you have not had an answer yet heres my 2p worth
As far as I know I am pretty sure the actuator is the same as the one fitted to the ford focus cmax 1.6 the difference being the length of the actuator arm I am sure they both work on the vacuum system you should be able to replace the rod on yours with a secondhand one bought on ebay

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the cmax 1.6 and a few other cars share the same turbo & actuator.

I will try a turbo rebuilder..they may be able to sell me the actuator separately.

Cheers

Thanks 307novice

I know of someone who just replaced their turbo (broken shaft) & have enquired regarding purchasing the faulty unit to salvage the actuator off.

Cheers
