Strange problem with the wife's 307. Its very sluggish (underpowered) when hot. A related problem is that when stationary (and hot), you can floor the accelerator and it basically does nothing for a second or two then takes off slowly for a couple of seconds and then takes off normally. No error light up on the dash.

Air filter is clean, petrol is 98 octane and known good. Will take a look at the plugs later today.. Any suggestions?

i was thinking throttle sensor, if there is one fitted of course. other than that does the engine sound normal or does it sound strained when your accellerating.

Once it starts accelerating, its fine, just the initial bit that is the problem

Could be the throttle body alright. They give a fair bit of trouble.
Get the gearbox ecu read also. Post up the faults.
