Hi there everyone just joined the forum. I've recently purchased a 2003 307 hdi 1.4.

As I'm sure everyone knows it wouldn't pull the socks off a dead man. So I'm looking to up the power a bit. What does everyone suggest. I'm pretty hands on so I can do most of the work myself.

Egr removal
Remap
Different turbo? Decat? Boost controller?

Let me know what works well. Also what programmes do people use to turn egr off and remap the ecus

Yeah I ve messaged two people about getting it mapped and they've both said that these ecus don't take it well and won't don't for me. Only thing they'd doing remove the egr, change limiter and can put a popcorn limited what ever that is.

And wiinzzwiinzz it's your repand that bring a forums down. As you can see in my original question I know they're practically dead that's why I'm looking for options to raise the power and torque.

I think if you jumped off your high horse and read the post again taking note of the smilie at the end you would have realised it was a humerous tongue in cheek response. WillNZ has been a forum member a fair bit longer than you have and has made some good contributions whereas yourself have 5 posts and two of those, both in this single thread are rather disparaging.

Your second post in this thread
No one at all. Your a happy bunch aren't yas
was rather impatient. Perhaps if you stopped to think before being a keyboard warrior you might consider that maybe the people who had read your question may not have been able to offer any usefull information - I would suspect that the number of members who know how to carry out a remap is very small and those that actually know how to edit the map itself even smaller. Most that have had a remap have taken the car to someone who does know what they are doing. Most people are happy enough with what they have got and those that wanted more power bought a car that already had the extra BHP.

Please try and moderate yourself before the moderators have to step in and do it for you.

Easy to do this one, and makes it much more driveable.

Best to bring the car in to us, if it's too far to drive you can post your ECU to us, or you can get BDM100 and program it yourself. Power comes out at 90 BHP with about 190 Nm torque.

I've not found injectors for this one, but the TD02 turbo from the 1.6 8V HDI fits on, you'll need to make a pressure actuator and remove the original vacuum actuator. You then tap in to the compressor housing and feed this to the actuator to set up the boost.

Get yourself a interface that can read this car. A simple MPPS for instance or a Kess. Read out the car, send that file out for tuning.
Hook up the battery charger to maintain at least 13.5 volts, write back the tuned file and your 307 is suddenly very much alive.

If you want, i can make the file for you against proper payment.
