Broken wire in door

I Second that,typical 306 fault.

Unscrew the multiplug on the door by the hinges, peel back the outer covering of the loom and I bet you will find one or more of the wires broken.

306 electric window

A big thank you to "old pug" you were correct a wire has broken off inside the door fitting, I would never have thought of this, my only problem now is getting at the break as its inside the cap, may have to seek auto electriction thank you all the same at least I am in right direction now.

A clever "wireman" with a soldering iron should be able to repair it.Don't bother with those crimp joiners as they don't last 5 minutes in that location.
Peugeot will sell you a complete plug and loom kit for the best part of £100 !!
and that will mean joining twenty or so wires inside the "A" post.
